Networks

A network offers a host of benefits to businesses with more than one computer. Files can be easily exchanged, and an Internet connection and printers can be shared between multiple computers.

A range of options are available when building a network:

Server - a server computer acts as a central store for files, e-mail and may also offer printing services to all the other computers on the network. A server can also provide increased security by limiting access to certain files by certain users.
Printers - our networks can include printing services as part of the package. We can connect existing printers to the network, or supply network-ready printers that do not require a controlling computer.
Internet connection - an Internet connection can be shared across the entire network giving each workstation full web and e-mail access. A single ISDN or broadband Internet connection is all that is required.
